Geethapriya Thamilarasu's research spans a broad range of topics in wireless networking, including mobile, ad hoc and sensor networks, network security and cross-layer design optimizations. Dr. Thamilarasu motivates students and young researchers to gain an understanding of new and emerging areas through a complementary mix of both theoretical and applied experimental research.
Some of her current research projects include:- Secure Key distribution and management in Wireless Sensor Networks
- Remote patient monitoring Using Body Area Sensor Networks
- Security in Vehicular Networks
