Michael Pittarelli, Ph.D.
Professor, Computer Science
Michael Pittarelli has been at SUNYIT since 1983. He started programming in the 1960s and worked at IBM in the 1970s. He was a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Rochester in 1990-1991 and a Visiting Professor at Cornell University in 2001-2002. His areas of research are database theory, machine learning, and reasoning under uncertainty. He is also a Senior Principal Engineer at SRC in Rome, where he works part-time with a group that includes several SUNYIT CS graduates.| Fall 2009 | Office Hours | Class Schedule |
